I love to explore the intersections of fibers, fashion, agriculture, and technology to support a local clothing and textiles economy. I also have a twin sister who is engaged in sustainability!

Hi Helen, What a treat to have someone from Cornell following our site! Thanks for introducing yourself. (You must have noticed all our Cornell connections, they’re rather difficult to miss!) It’s great that we have so many interests in common. For the shop at our property Cardamom County we’ve searched out crafts that support women’s self-help groups throughout India. One of my favorites are hand crocheted pieces made my women in Bihar, one of the poorest areas of the country. I’m sure you would love it. (Here’s their website: http://www.samoolam.org/) We also highlight what we’re doing on the RAXA Collective facebook page. I hope to see you there! Amie Inman
